Omar Tolaymat, MD, is a clinical assistant professor within the division of rheumatology and clinical immunology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Tolaymat received his medical degree from Florida International University in Miami. He then went on to complete his internal medicine residency at the UF College of Medicine - Jacksonville in Jacksonville, FL. Following his residency, he completed a rheumatology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic Florida in Jacksonville, FL.Dr. Tolaymat is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology. His clinical and research interest include lupus, pseudovasculitis, tuberous sclerosis and bilateral renal angiomyolipomas.
