- Primary CareTo be seen by one of our audiologists for hearing testing without an evaluation by one of our physicians, a referral from your primary care physician is required. This referral must be received by our office before we are able to schedule hearing testing. In turn, if you wish to see one of our physicians in conjunction with hearing testing, the need for a referral is determined by your individual insurance plan.
- Emergency CareWe always do our best to accommodate requests for “same day†evaluations, typically with an urgent referral from a primary care provider, urgent care, or emergency room.  As long as permitted by a patient’s insurance plan, an individual can request a same day appointment.  These are typically only available if another patient has cancelled.
- General SurgeryWe pride ourselves on our professionalism and from the moment we first answer the phone, will strive to make your experience with our office outstanding in every way. - OtolaryngologyAfter pursuing a significant portion of his education and training outside of Florida, Dr. Hauptman was excited to return to Gainesville. Having finished his Otolaryngology residency in June, 2008, Dr. Hauptman entered private practice, joining Gainesville ENT & Allergy Associates.
- AllergiesPlease notify the receptionist upon your arrival. If another patient is undergoing allergy testing, there may be a slight delay before you receive your drops. You will need to plan to relax in our office after each vial test WITHOUT EXCEPTION, depending on the severity of your allergies and whether or not you have asthma. Your wait time will be determined before you begin your course of immunotherapy so you can plan accordingly. We have gone to great lengths to make our office a comfortable and relaxing environment, but please do not hesitate to let our staff know if there is anything we can do to make your wait more enjoyable. Our policies are meant to insure the highest level of safety and failure to comply with them will result in termination of your immunotherapy. We look forward to caring for you and your family.
