Emily Pohl, ARNP, is an advanced registered nurse practitioner at the UF Health Pediatrics - Millhopper. Dr. Pohl received her bachelor's degree from Purdue University's School of Nursing in West Lafayette, Indiana. She served as a registered nurse in the progressive care unit at Indiana University health before earning her master's degree in nursing from Jacksonville University in 2018. During her time at Jacksonville University, Dr. Pohl presented in their 2017 Fall Research Symposium on the topic of child's primary care with congenital heart disease.Dr. Pohl has expertise in cardiac arrhythmias, cardiac drips, pacemakers and post-cardiac catheterization care. She has earned multiple accolades over the years, including the Patient Safety Award from the Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital and was nominated for the Daisy Award from the Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital. Dr. Pohl is a member of the American Nurses Association and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
