Dipankar Gupta, MBBS, DCH, MD, is board-certified in pediatrics, pediatric cardiology and pediatric critical care medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University College of Medical Sciences at the University of Delhi in India. He then pursued his pediatric residencies at Safdarjang Hospital at the University of Delhi and at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn. In 2011, Dr. Gupta joined the University of Florida College of Medicine to pursue a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine and in pediatric cardiology. While completing his fellowships at the UF College of Medicine, he was awarded the UF Health Shands Children's Hospital Customer Service Key Award and the Douglas J. Barrett M.D. Academic Fellowship Award.At UF Health, Dr. Gupta serves as a clinical assistant professor and works as a pediatric cardiologist at the UF Health Congenital Heart Center. He is also a member of the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.His clinical interests include pediatric cardiology, congenital heart disease, pediatric heart failure, cardiomyopathy, heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support.
