Schools Public Transportation is a department of Alachua County Public Schools that has 24 elementary, eight middle and seven high schools and three special centers. The department provides transportation services to students of the district for schools and special trips. It has a substitute driver system that employs substitute drivers when regular drivers are not available. It trains drivers and keeps a file about history of driver training and accidents.
