It offers public services such as euthanasia when necessary and rabies vaccinations. It provides spay and neuter services, care for stray and unwanted animals and veterinary treatment for sick and injured animals. It conducts field operations that include investigation of cases of suspected animal cruelty, humane education, wildlife complaints and trapping services.
