- ArthritisArthritis is any chronic condition that affects the joints and causes pain, inflammation, and, in most cases, joint breakdown. According to the Arthritis Foundation, there are over 100 different types of arthritis. The two most common types of arthritis, however, are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, which can affect a single joint or multiple joints at the same time.
- FibromyalgiaPain can be expected occasionally. Pain is usually an alarm signaling your body to some type of irritation or potential injury. For example, you could be sore from overexertion or stubbed your toe on furniture. Most of the time, it will go away on its own, or you can take Tylenol or ibuprofen and continue your day. Unfortunately, some people’s pain does not resolve, resulting in chronic pain. A specific type of chronic pain accompanied by fatigue, mood changes, or irregular sleep patterns may indicate fibromyalgia, a chronic illness.
- Plantar FasciitisThe plantar fascia is the long tissue at the bottom of your feet that connects the heel bone to the toes. Plantar fasciitis is a painful condition that affects the bottom, and inner aspect of the heel and worsens after periods of non-weight bearing (i.e., the morning after sleeping, after prolonged sitting).
- Ear Infections
- Carpal Tunnel SyndromeDo you notice your hands and fingers ache daily or that typing and holding things with your hands has become particularly difficult or uncomfortable? If so, you may have carpal tunnel syndrome.
- Multiple SclerosisBalance deficits can result from physical conditions such as injuries or arthritis in the feet, knees, or hips. Balance problems may also be caused by neurological conditions. Parkinson’s disease or multiple sclerosis, for example, can cause balance loss and nerve injuries from spine disorders or peripheral neuropathies. In some cases, changes in balance are more mental in nature, implying that people’s fear influences how they move.

- UltrasoundThis therapy is used to manage or relieve pain, treat injuries, and improve the overall healing response. If you are in pain or have recently been injured, ultrasound treatments may be beneficial.
- MRIYou will register at the front desk when you arrive at our office. We’ll need your insurance information as well as any other paperwork you’ve brought with you (i.e., referral, X-ray or MRI report, other medical reports)
- ChemotherapyNeuropathy is a nerve disease that is commonly associated with diabetes, medication toxicity (e.g., chemotherapy), or circulation issues such as peripheral vascular disease.
- IontophoresisOur programs are designed in a holistic manner. When dealing with wrist conditions, we address the entire upper extremity. Stretching and strengthening the neck, shoulder, elbow, and hand are frequently included in our treatment programs. Splinting, bracing, and modalities (such as heat, ice, laser, iontophoresis, or ultrasound) are also commonly used to relieve pain and ensure the best possible outcome.
- SciaticaAre you searching for sciatica relief? Disc herniations frequently cause pressure on the nerve, causing pain and inflammation of the sciatic nerve, resulting in sciatica. Sciatica (also known as lumbar radiculopathy) affects the nerves that exit the lower back and travel down the leg (L4-S3). (Femoral nerve radiculopathy in the front of the leg is far less common.)
- WhiplashThe violent nature of an accident can result in severe head, neck, and back injuries, as well as injuries to multiple regions of the body at the same time. There are also instances where the accident appeared minor, but the damage was significant and long-lasting, as with head trauma and whiplash.
- Wound Care
- Pinched NerveAlthough sciatica is commonly described as a pinched nerve, the majority of cases are caused by inflammation. A compressed nerve in the lower back is a more serious condition that should be treated as soon as possible.
- Sports MedicineSports injuries are unavoidable; fortunately, our physical therapist uses cutting-edge treatments to get you back to competing at your best. Kinesio taping can help relieve pain caused by a wide range of injuries. It aids in injury recovery and improves overall mobility and athletic performance.

- Frozen ShoulderFrozen shoulder (also known as adhesive capsulitis) causes stiffness, loss of range of motion, and pain in the shoulder joint. Symptoms usually appear gradually and worsen over time. Most symptoms go away on their own after one to three years.
- Tennis ElbowTennis elbow may be caused by tendonitis or tendonosis. Tendinitis occurs when the tendons of the outer elbow (lateral epicondyle) become inflamed. If it is caused by repetitive tasks, it is more likely tendonitis, which does not respond to anti-inflammatory medication.
- Shoulder Pain
- Ankle SprainWhen the ankle rolls, twists, or turns awkwardly to the outside of the ankle, a “sprain” occurs (i.e., lateral ankle sprain). The ligaments that support the ankle joint are partially or completely ripped as a result of this sudden stretch.
- Neck Pain
- Back Pain
- Manual TherapyDo you want a highly effective way to relieve pain or improve your range of motion? Manual therapy could be a fantastic solution to your issues!
- TMJ DysfunctionPain and difficulty moving are symptoms of TMJ dysfunction. For some, the joint prevents normal mouth opening; for others, the joint can become stuck, making all movements painful. The muscles surrounding the joint may also become stiff and sore. A dysfunctional TMJ joint can cause headaches or neck tension in severe cases.
- Orthotics and Prosthetic Therapy
- Achilles TendonitisAchilles tendonitis is frequently associated with an overuse or repetitive stress injury. Tendinitis occurs when the tendons become inflamed, causing swelling and pain, particularly when the affected area is moved.
- Ankle SprainThe degree of pain, inflammation, ability to move the joints, and time frame for healing and recovery will all be determined by the severity of the injury. Ankle injuries, regardless of how they occurred, should be evaluated by a physical therapist to begin rehabilitation and ensure no permanent damage has occurred.
- Flat FeetThe arches in your foot are formed by several tendons working together with your bones and joints. Your foot will form a proper arch when the tendons pull together correctly, and your joints are stable.
- Foot Pain
- Plantar FasciitisThis condition results in heel pain and can make walking or standing uncomfortable. This technique can help alleviate tension, reduce pain, and improve foot function.
