Headquartered in Gadsden, Ala., Darden Rehabilitation Foundation is a nonprofit organization that serves the communities in Etowah, Marshall, DeKalb, St. Clair and Cherokee, Ala. The foundation is a community rehabilitation program that has partnership with the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services. The Darden Rehabilitation Foundation is a United Way Agency and is accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Founded in 1957, its services include job coaching, vocational evaluation and development training. The Darden Rehabilitation Foundation is the recipient of Organization Award by the Alabama Association of Rehabilitation Facilities. Its vocational development training services include counseling and providing problem solving strategies.
