I contacted Weather Master (HVAC) because they are listed as contractors used by my home builders. Within 1 year we started having cooling problems, and when reported to builder they sent weather master and Weather master technician claimed that " flaps needed to be adjusted" . We noticed same problem again and reported to Weather Master directly, since house is not under builder's warranty after 1 yr. Technician came up with bill of $1690.00. When questioned about why this was not properly diagnosed in year 1, Lamore ( phone agent) promised that she will check with her boss and come back. Till to-date she has not. Now I am dealing with coil breakage/leakage on a less than 4 yr old brand new house. When upsets me more is that this issue was reported under 1 yr.

Here are charge details:
Leak Detection- Electronic Leak Detector: $225.60
Then they charged told me additional charge to repair for 1691.14. So total: 1916.74. However, my credit card is charged for $225.60 and $1813.75, so total charge of $2039.35
Till to-date I don't have invoice but my credit card is charged. Till to-date I sent numerous email to Lamore (phone agent), but received no response via email or mail in writing. All at best, they tried to do is call me in work hours and left a generic message.

They are not transparent in their cost and repair. With the behavior they showed, they are considered liars and cheaters. Please do your research, all negative reviews are 100% true and I don't trust positive reviews( made up).

Lastly, if you call after office hours, staff suppose to be more efficient and alert, I found them half sleepy and gave me a feeling they are mentally absent (under the influence). Example: I told them clearly my problem with cooling issues, person lists as heating issues. I told agent cancel appointment for next day (appointment was in next morning), agent responds back saying oh I will let agent know to come to your place. He is on his way. I told them clearly that its a known issue reported earlier, but explained them line by line again and person kept asking me to repeat and repeat. Extremely unprofessional staff. When reported of this issue, Lamore told me they are sub-contractors and not directly affiliated with company. But, yet you still put them on line to talk to customers.

Addition to last review. Regarding tankless water heater. They put in heater but the wiring was not completed on same day.. as of now still is not. I timed how long it takes for warm water to reach sinks. Takes bout minute to reach sinks. Something else.. washers and using hot cycle for whites??

Initial service call was great and quick. Technician that came out was great. But the company pricing for repairs is a major rip off. Was quoted $1,385.00 for a replacement gas valve part plus labor for the installation. Called another service company to get a second opinion and they charged me $220.00 for the exact same part and I got the same repair completed from a competitor for less than 1/3 the price. Seems that Weathermaster is more concerned about selling their maintenance contracts than providing service at a fair price. Would never recommend this company.

Choosing Weather Master for my recent AC repair was a huge disappointment. I recently selected them back in June for AC repair based on their online reviews. I ended up needed to have the entire unit replaced, which I worked with Weather Master to do. Sadly, ~$4,000 and 4 short weeks later, the brand new unit stopped working. I had to wait 2 days for someone to come. Upon diagnosing the problem, they confirmed it was a faulty part not installed correctly causing the unit to leak coolant. I had to wait 4 days and constantly call them before someone came to fix it! Less than 24 hours later the same part, which was installed incorrectly again, broke. I had to call constantly to follow up (even left a message for the owner who never called me back) before someone came a third time. I have been expecting it to break again, and last night it did. Now I have to call and wait for them to come out again. I would go with another company, but can't due to the warranty on my new unit.

My AC went out overnight and I called first thing the next morning. I got on the waiting list for same day service knowing I might not get a tech by that day. After a very long day for him, my tech Nick came at 9pm and spent an hour on the repair. I'm so grateful, given we are set for one of the hottest weekends of the year. Thank you!

Weather Master is one of the companies I trust doing business with. Its techs are the greatest. Hurley Redd was the tech that came out on a service call. He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. He promptly identified the problem and fixed it. He also suggested some things I might need to consider given the age of my HVAC system. He was very easy to understand and to do business with. Thank you Weather Master and Hurley.

Bad sales practice and switching price when job completed with different amount. I asked Weather Master Home Services for estimate on csst bonding. The technician said he called his boss and he can do for $75 if I do now which save him the trip or $175 if he comes back. I agreed to have the technician perform the job. Once the job is completed which took less than 30 minutes. He wrote up the invoice for $175. I asked him why and he said he did not tell me $75 and his boss said the same. This is a bad business practice and switching price one job is completed.

Weather Master has installed 3 furnace/AC units in my house in the past 3 years, 2 when it was built 3 years ago and 1 when we finished the basement 2 years ago. The two year old has recently died. I called Weather Master to schedule an appointment. First I was told they had no record of installing anything at my address. After my contractor called and read them the riot act the found my record. I then called back and said that I assume part or all of this would still be under warranty. I was told that because we didn't sign a service agreement with them to have each unit serviced twice a year our warranty is void. I'm not sure if that is even legal but I do know it's robbery. Will never use them again.

Hurley always does a thorough job and is very pleasant to talk with. I usually pick up a couple of good home-owner tips in the process as well. Today he even noticed that my discount had been overlooked so he made sure I would get credit for it.

I would like to commend and thank Mr Russell for his great attitude, & knowledge of the job & equipment. He was very helpful and answered all of my questions concerning hot water heaters & the best method of connecting two heating units. Mr Russell takes a lot of pride in his work, and did a beautiful job with the installation of my additional hot water heating unit. He represents Weather Master very well. Justin A. was probably the most knowledgeable service person we have ever had in our home. We appreciated his advice and purchased a Phenomenal Aire device to try and clean our inside air. Justin did not have any brochures on air-exchangers, but we are still interested in learning more about the device.

Justin did our spring service, he was polite and explained what he found. The solution we chose was to have additional air cleaning equipment installed. He described the options and allowed us to make an informed decision. An altogether pleasant experience.

I have dealt with Weather Master for several years and have found them to be honest and reliable. Very good technicians on installations and routine service. I have recommended them to several neighbors who have purchased systems from Weather Master. Every technician I have met from Weather Master sings the praises of the company and that is unusual and speaks highly of the company.
