Do not send your parent to this Assisted Living facility. It looks very nice and everything but they rejected my mother after I had moved in all her furniture because they just looked at her nursing notes from the rehab and were concerned she could "go downhill very fast in the next couple of months" . I was totally caught off guard and asked them if they only took healthy people. My mother was living in an Independent Living facility but needed more care due to her neuromuscular disease. I had to pay $100 twice to move her hospital bed and was promised to be reimbursed some of it. The manager is a smooth talker but not sincere. This place is totally corporate and more concerned with the bottom line and top executives instead of the patients. It was a blessing in disguise as I scrambled and found a much better place- Heartfields in Cary. The price was the same but they provide 24 hour care and Carillon would have called 911 if there was a problem. I am so happy Mom isn't there.
