Founded in 1961, McIntire Elementary School provides accelerated reader and Drug and Alcohol Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) programs. The school serves more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade five. Located in Fulton, Mo., its academic curriculum includes English, math, science, social studies and language arts. McIntire Elementary School also offers classes in art, physical education and music. The school s facilities include a media center, computer lab, cafeteria, playground and classrooms. It employs subject teachers, nurses, media specialists, counselors and Title I coordinators. McIntire Elementary School operates a library that stocks a variety of textbooks, storybooks, puzzles, and fiction and nonfiction books. The school is a part of Fulton Public School.
