You will be in contact with members of our staff regarding the details of your transaction, mortgage payoff information, homeowners insurance coverage, sales price, commissions and any other specific information pertinent to your closing. In the meantime, one of our attorneys, will do your title search, examining the land records on your property for a period of fifty years. The attorneys are looking for mortgages, tax liens, judgement liens, easements, and any other items that would prevent you from receiving clear title to the property. The last step in the process is for the buyers and sellers to come together at Kentucky Land Title to sign the documents that will transfer the property.
