This is one of the worst Pharmacies that I have ever had to deal with. The employees are very unprofessional and very rude. The owners need to clean house if they expect to keep customers!!

This is a very unprofessional pharmacy. They have staffing problems and a very bad attitude towards their patrons. You would be better advised to get your prescriptions through the mail or travel to the mainland. Unfortunately they are the only pharmacy on San Juan Island. and they are getting away with whatever they want to pull on their patrons.

terrible...they are real expensive and have a hard time keeping help....probably because so many people complain about the service

The store staff is helpful, the pharmacy staff is a different story. Every interaction seems to be an irritation and I have yet to have one of the pharmacists offer as much as a smile. Greetings consist of a curt "yes" or being ignored. They appear indifferent to any need including request for clarification for prescription use and interactions. I much prefer mail order or refills on the mainland.
yes, the prices are higher - duh, everything gets here on a ferry. the people are GREAT, so the slightly higher prices don't matter.

Yes, prices are higher. People don't realize the cost of actually getting things to an island that is NOT connected to a mainland. Planes, ferries and barges are expensive and need to be passed on to the consumer, otherwise the businesses are operating at break-even rates or even at a loss. That's the price you pay for living in paradise. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and they do have, or can get, just about any RX need.

Prices are much higher than on the mainland, they do not accept Humana or Wash State RX cards and probably others, the staff rarely smiles and always seems to be in a foul mood. This is why we always try to purchase on the mainland if possible.
