      Northwest Church in Federal Way

      My husband and I were looking for a church many years ago - when we first arrived in Washington. I young professional we met in a local hotel told us about Northwest Church in Federal Way and we visited. 13 years later we are still there!

      We both loved how the authentic concern they were for children. They are prayed for every week! We also very much love the preaching of Pastor Steve Schell - a humble man of God who has taught us so much about God's word. He truly is a biblical giant. We love so many other aspects of the church including the welcoming environment, children and youth classes as well as the adult class offerings. Finally, we love the people we have met there - ithey are the icing on the cake! Stop by and check it out!!

      We are a community of believers who exist to glorify God in all we do and say. As a church, our mission is to make disciples of Christ. That's just a fancy way of saying, we're into Jesus and we hope to introduce you to Him if you don't already call him Lord. If you're already a follower of Christ, we want to encourage you in your faith to become more like Him. The Bible calls this sanctification; we call it living our lives for Jesus 24/7. Every Sunday we gather to connect with God and each other. We offer a variety of musical styles so that everyone can find a place they feel comfortable. Our children's ministry provides a great environment for your kids to hang out and learn more about Jesus. If you have older kids, then you'll want to check out our Student's Ministry Department. We have some really great people who work with Jr. High, High School, and College Students and we would love for you to meet them.
