Established in 1997, I-5 Social Services Corporation is a private, nonprofit corporation located in Fresno, Calif. The agency provides subsidized, licensed, childcare services in rural communities. It operates more than five licensed child care centers located in Huron, Kerman, Mendota, Selma, and Madera counties in Fresno, Calif. The agency s services include a family nutrition program, financial literacy program and volunteer program. Its financial literacy and equity building program targets low-income, farm worker families that the agency serves at its licensed child care centers and the general public. The agency partners with the Fresno Community Food Resources for its family nutrition program that comprises food distribution and education on proper nutrition for parents.
