General Info
The name of our business, (AHN-ti-co), comes from the Italian language and generally translates as "ancient." Over the years, we have gathered together an extensive inventory covering a diverse range of interests including Coca-Cola, Disneyana, Railroad/Airline/Hotel China and Silverware, Advertising, Fresno, Yosemite, Postcards, Textiles, Fukagawa Porcelain, Ando Cloisonne, Otagiri, Made in Japan, Paper Ephemera, Primitives, Jewelry, Glassware, China, Toys, and "Anything Really Funky." We are known for our integrity; selling only authentic items. At any given time, buyers can choose from items in categories such as soda collecting, print media, linens, silver, glassware, china, toys, primitives, modern collectibles, advertising, transportation, and areas of specific regional interest, among many others. The historical foundation of our business really began back in 1955, when Chuck began collecting treasures in his little red Radio Flyer wagon, wearing his official Davy Crockett boots. Since those days, our enterprise has evolved from a multi-generational hobby into a growing business. Our vintage Disneyana merchandise is only available at professional shows including Fresno's Serendipity Antique Shows in February, August, and November; Oakhurst's Disney Days in September; the Bakersfield Antique Show at Hodel's in January; the Lodi Antique Show in January; and our biggest show in Garden Grove at the Disneyana Expo in July. We may be adding a new show in Paso Robles soon. Our vintage Disneyana features selected treasures from our inventory of over 13,000 items. Our merchandise includes vintage Disneyana from pre-WWII to the present. Items include collector plates, glasses, post cards, view-master reels, ticket books, Disney dollars, spoons, serigraph cels, figurines, books, paper ephemera, stuffed characters, toys, record albums, sheet music, apparel, jewelry, pins, ornaments, cookie jars, dishes, lunch boxes, thermoses, and much more. We have unique and highly desirable Disneyana associated with the original 1955 opening of Disneyland and the era of Walt Disney himself. Disney's connections to the Olympics and the Coca-Cola Company are represented in our selections as well. We offer merchandise covering a wide price range: from a few dollars for items children might purchase to several thousands of dollars for items appealing to sophisticated Disneyana collectors. For your convenience, we accept major credit cards at our professional shows and use the very hip "Square" credit card reader. We regularly post information about upcoming shows on our Facebook page.
