General Info
The Council House Cafe offers locals and travelers on the Natchez Trace a great place to eat. Our generous-sized sandwiches are made on our famous homemade French Camp Bread. Piled high with your choice of turkey, ham, or Cajun roast beef, our sandwiches are perfect when topped with our honey mustard. If you're really feeling hungry, take home our Big Willie BLT - 10 pieces of crispy bacon and our spicy garlic mayonnaise will certainly fill you up! Our sensational salads are a big hit, too. Folks rave about our broccoli salad up and down the Natchez Trace and our new chef's salad (The Trace) is just to die for! Of course, on a chilly day, you might enjoy one of our signature soups - Martha's Black Bean or Ann's Potato. On special occasions, we even break out our cabbage soup or French Camp chili! If we still haven't filled you up, we can top you off with some mouthwatering bread pudding or some rich Mississippi Mud. The Council House Cafe is owned and operated by French Camp Academy, a Christian boarding school for at-risk youth. All our proceeds benefit the students at French Camp Academy. So come on by and have a sandwich! We'd love to meet you.
