Freeport High School operates under Freeport Public Schools. It offers classes from grades nine through 12 and enrolls more than 2,000 students every year. Freeport High School offers classes in various subjects, including music, business and technology, language arts, mathematics, English, science and social studies. The school, based in Freeport, N.Y., also offers various services and facilities, such as a fully stocked library, auditoriums and gymnasiums, guidance and counseling service, athletics, and food and transportation services. It conducts a variety of sporting events, and provides several teaching and learning resources. Freeport Public Schools also operates other schools, including Archer Street School, Caroline G. Atkinson School and New Visions Elementary School.
