Jennifer Simmons is a terrible attorney. She represented me in a child custody case. She was rude and made me feel humiliated. She would threaten me, and pressure me to settle. I paid her over $12000. She started. One week before trial, she had used up all my trust account money ($6000) and she asked me for an additional $6000. She wanted me to pay this now or she would not work on my case (this is against ethics rules). I paid her $1000, then a couple of days later another $5000, but she had stopped working on the case, missed deadlines and then because of this she forced me to settle as she was unprepared for trial. Again, do not use her, especially if you are a man. She took all $12000 for settling a simple child custody case,I believe she padded her invoices. If you too have been ripped off by this attorney, I recommend you file a complaint with the VA State Bar.
