Dr. Biddulph came to the Fredericksburg area in 1999 to join a busy orthopedic surgeon at a multi-specialty clinic. Dr. Biddulph was one of the busiest surgeons at Mary Washington Hospital. He built a strong reputation for providing knowledgeable yet compassionate care. In early 2001, Dr. Biddulph and his staff opened the doors of his own practice at his first location in downtown Fredericksburg. The departure from a multi-specialty clinic allowed for more personalized, timely care for patients. The practice moved into the Ambulatory Services Center building -- adjacent to Mary Washington Hospital -- in 2003. This office location provides for several key conveniences for patients, including availability of advanced radiologic procedures and outpatient surgery in the same building. The Ambulatory Services Center is home to Medical Imaging of Fredericksburg, where every type of radiologic procedure can be scheduled including MRI, CT scans, and bone scans. The Ambulatory Services Center is also home to Fredericksburg Ambulatory Surgery Center where most outpatient surgical procedures are performed. For more advanced needs or in the event hospital admission is required, Mary Washington Hospital is also attached, adding a degree of safety and convenience not typically seen in an office setting.
