• Dental Examination
  Proper handwashing is one of the most important measures our team takes to prevent the spread of infection. For routine dental exams and nonsurgical procedures, we wash thoroughly with water and hand soap specifically created for healthcare settings.
• X-rays
  When visiting a dentist for the first time, you can expect to receive a complete examination. During this initial visit, he or she will check your teeth and gums for any areas of disease (decay or gum disease). He or she will also provide you with a set of dental X-Rays to examine the areas between the teeth and verify actual decay. If decay reaches deep enough, a root canal may be necessary in order to save your tooth. If it’s beyond repair, there are a variety of tooth replacement options available.
• Oral Cancer Screening
  At Premiere Dental Arts of Frederick, we emphasize the importance of providing oral cancer screenings to our patients. By detecting any abnormalities in your oral health early, it will help you get the treatment you need to either reduce or eliminate the risk of developing a more serious oral health condition.

Preventive

• Teeth Cleaning
  We provide exceptional preventative care, including exams, cleanings and digital x-rays. Early detection of dental problems is essential to gain optimal oral health. It is recommended that all patients should schedule a six-month dental check-up exam. Dental Cleanings
• Fluoride Treatment
  We offer fluoride treatment to prevent tooth decay for our patients. Fluoride helps by making the tooth more resistant to the build-up of decay causing plaque and sugars. It can also speed re-mineralization as well as disrupt acid erosion in teeth.
• Dental Sealants
  Sealants are highly effective in preventing tooth decay and cavities on your molars and premolars. These areas are the most susceptible to cavities due to the anatomized grooves.

Restorative

• Resin Composite
  Harmful bacteria on the tooth can lead to decay. Our dentists can remove the decay and fill the area. Tooth colored fillings are made of tooth colored, composite resin. This protects the tooth from infection and further decay and restores them with a more natural tooth colored material.
• Veneers
  Porcelain veneers are cosmetic solutions that may be recommended for those who are interested in restoring the color and appearance of their teeth. They are used to recreate the natural look of teeth, while also providing strength and flexibility that is comparable to natural tooth enamel.

Orthodontics

• Orthodontics
  Orthodontic treatment is used to treat all types of patients, from adults to young teens. Orthodontics is used to realign the teeth into a more natural position. It is also used to straighten teeth in order to correct any imbalance in the bite.
• Invisalign Orthodontics
  Invisalign ™ treatment begins with a consultation at our office. Once our doctors determine that you are a candidate for Invisalign™, a model of your teeth will be created on the computer to provide a step-by-step customized plan. You will see a visual representation of what your teeth can look like upon completion of treatment. Each set of aligners is worn for two weeks and gently moves your teeth. Your visits to our office will be every 4 to 6 weeks where will ensure the teeth are moving properly. Will we then give you the next 2 or 3 sets. The amount of time and number of aligners worn varies depending upon your plan.
