General Info

I have practiced in the Frederick, New Market, and Carroll County areas for 20 plus years and I specialize with couples, individuals, and families. For four years, I successfully managed an outpatient clinic for children and families with Catholic Charities in Carroll County. I held the key positions of Clinical Supervisor and Program Director. My decision to build a full time private practice was made after numerous years of client satisfaction with running a clinic. I am committed to helping people achieve their goals and transform their lives. I offer a confidential, safe and respectful environment. While working with clients, I utilize an active, flexible, strength based approach incorporating both cognitive behavioral and solution focused techniques. I am skilled at helping my clients learn effective methods of communicating that will reduce the stress in their lives. I have extensive experience working with issues such as stress management, depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, addictions, eating disorders, grief and bereavement. I have advanced training in interpersonal issues and I am nationally certified with an addictions specialization.
