I took my Explorer to Aamco for free check engine light diagnostic. The light came on while I was on the way home from work. It was 4:45 and they close at 5:00. the owner Mike said the he could check it. They stayed late and found all it was just a loose gas cap. I just wanted to say THANKS!

I had my car to Aamco in Frederick the check engine light was on. I failed emissions and needed to get the car checked . I was thinking to myself how expensive could this get. They found a small hose was bad and causing the lite to go on. They repaired the hose for $81. They also pointed out there was a small engine oil leak. My oil was a little low and included topping it up in the repair. I will have them fix the oil leak because they treated my right. Thanks

Our car was stranded with failed transmission and towed to shop. Knowing this, they proceeded (without advising us first) to test drive on city streets, where transmission failed again. We were charged $50 for them to tow our car back to shop. Not told of this additional charge untill paying the final bill of $650 in labor + the $50 tow. There was also the slip of a day in diagnosing the car due to their nonfunctional lift and that when we arrived to pay the bill, we had to wait for an hour just to pay the bill, because no one is available to assist custormers during their hour lunch. We called Aamco's national customer relations office to report issue of being charged for needless tow, they called back once to get our story but haven't called back with resolution.
