AS well AS being a licensed massage therapist with 600+ hours of training from the internationally accredited costa rica school of massage therapy I have a bachelors degree in marketing and spanish from the esteemed james Madison university college of BUSINESS. I Also have a phenomenal touch level 1 certification AS well AS over 30 hours of REIKI training. I specialize in pain relief using primarily trigger point therapy and MYO-FASCIAL release therapy. These techniques involve a slow movement of connective tissue found in localized areas (trigger points) or through releasing fascia in fascial planes. This means the work is slow. Scanning the body for trigger points and then holding pressure on them until they release. If YOU have a specific injury or complaint it is best to have time to focus on that. Particularly if YOU have less than an hour to spend. For longer sessions it is fine to expect a full body treatment. For those that like a lighter touch I Also practice REIKI. REIKI is a light healing touch that moves energy in the body and fills the receiver with a feeling of lightness. The intention is to create deep relaxation. To help speed healing and reduce pain.
