Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home has been a vital care-giving member of the Franklinville and surrounding communities since the foundation of the Babbitt & Allen funeral home was formed in the 1920s. The present location has been a funeral home since 1927 and has been consistently updated to continue to offer dignified and caring service which is our driving force. In 1986, Cleon and Leesa Easton of Franklinville purchased the Babbitt & Allen Funeral Home. They bought the business from long time owner, Richard Allen. A 1973 graduate of Pioneer Central School in Yorkshire, Mr. Easton attended Brockport University and was graduated from Simmons School of Mortuary Science, SyracuseNY, in 1977. From 1977 to 1978, he served an apprenticeship in Rochester and was granted his Funeral Director License in 1979. Mr. Easton was an associate of the Babbitt & Allen Funeral Home from 1980 to 1985. He then became an associate of Guenther Funeral Home in Porterville and Olean until the purchase of the funeral home in 1986.
