Washington St. Tammany Electric Cooperative, founded in 1938, is a member-owned, nonprofit organization that serves more than 41,000 customers throughout Washington and Marion counties in Mississippi. The cooperative has over 5,400 miles of distribution lines and nearly two transmission substations with approximately three transmission switching stations.
