Evaluating a patientâ??s lifestyle and what is affecting their health rather than just diagnosing is key to helping prevent chronic disease and achieving optimal health. A good day at work is seeing a patientâ??s health improve when theyâ??ve followed the recommendations and treatment provided. I appreciate hearing that theyâ??re pleased with the care they received. I wanted to make a difference in the health and well-being of others, so I chose a career in medicine.
