Peavy's refunded our money and explained that they could not call us back because of problems with their telephone line. We are completely satisfied and can recommend this company as honest and professional service.

We suggest you disregard the positive reviews about this company, as our experience with the company was deplorable. Graig Peavy serviced our GE Profile dryer, which had no heat, on Oct. 4, charging us more than $200, only slightly below half the price of some new dryers. Nine days but only three dry loads later, our dryer failed again with the same problem as it had before Graig "repaired" it (no heat). We called Graig numerous times to repair the unit properly, but Graig had simply cashed our check and disappeared. He did not return any of our phone calls and he made no effort to stand behind his work -- even though he knew full well that we badly needed the dryer to function properly for use with our rental business. Under the circumstances, we had no choice but to buy a new dryer, which we did, a Whirlpool unit from Deal's Appliance Service in Clayton, GA, which we recommend because Whirlpool appliances are serviced by other appliance repair companies in the area of Highlands, NC, Franklin, NC and Clayton, GA. If you get a GE unit, you may be stuck with Peavy's, which may help to explain that company's inattention to customer needs. In addition to Deal's Appliance Service we recommend Black Rock Appliance Repair or Frady Appliance and Refrigeration Service Repair Service ( both companies service GE units). These companies service Highlands and Franklin in NC and Clayton, GA.
