Gulf Craft is a leading provider of new aluminum vessel construction. These vessels hail from ports throughout the world. Family owned and operated since 1965, Gulf Craft has extensive experience in the design and construction of commercial aluminum vessels used primarily in the passenger and oilfield markets. Gulf Craft's main facility is completely integrated for efficient vessel construction. Located on 12 acres of property along Bayou Teche in Patterson, La., the facility is accessible from the Gulf of Mexico via the Atchafalaya River. The site provides 35,000 square feet of protected bulkhead. The yard has four sets of railways for launching and hauling out vessels, plus a covered slip for completion of vessels. The facility is equipped with a machine shop, an electrical shop, a carpenter shop, a mechanical outfitting shop, a paint shop and a steel fabricating shop. Four electrical overhead cranes assist with material positioning and vessel construction.
