- Stroke RehabilitationPMH is a member of the Stroke Care Now Network. If a patient comes into the ER and appears to have the symptoms of a stroke, there is expert help just seconds away. With our specialized video equipment, a neurologist in Fort Wayne can observe the patient in "real time" for certain signs and symptoms and can assist the ER physician in immediately diagnosing a stroke. If treatment can be initiated within 3-6 hours of onset of stroke symptoms, most strokes can be reversed.
- Pediatric CareA primary care provider (PCP) is a doctor or nurse practitioner who specializes in family medicine, internal medicine or pediatrics and is your main healthcare provider. - ElectrocardiogramFrom the intake room, you will be taken to an exam room. The physicians and nurses will complete their entire assessment and treatment in that room. You may be sent to another department for tests, such as Diagnostic Imaging. Other hospital staff may come to your room and perform procedures like an EKG or blood draw. The length of time you spend in the exam room depends on the number of tests you need and how long the tests take to process. When your test results are received and the doctor has reviewed them, he or she will see you again to discuss the results.

- MRIThe hospital continues to grow. In October 2013, local physicians and nurse practitioners became the PMH Medical and Surgical Group moving into the impressive Medical Office Building (MOB) right behind the hospital. Since that time, the Group has grown to twenty-three physicians and nurse practitioners. With this continued growth, the Medical Office Building continues to grow with it. PMH broke ground on a second expansion in November 2020. This expansion is the largest building project the hospital has undertaken since its opening in 1963. When complete, the available square footage will double in size, offering almost twice as many exam rooms. Additionally, PMH has opened five more clinics in Culver, Francesville, Knox, Monterey, and North Judson. Also demonstrating the hospital's continued growth was the unveiling of two state-of-the-art surgical suites and a new state-of-the-art MRI machine and CT scanner.
- RadiologyWhen you get services from an in-network hospital or ambulatory surgical center, certain providers there may be out-of-network. In these cases, the most those providers may bill you is your plan's in-network cost-sharing amount. This applies to emergency medicine, anesthesia, pathology, radiology, laboratory, neonatology, assistant surgeon, hospitalist, or intensivist services. These providers can't balance bill you and may not ask you to give up your protections not to be balance billed.
- ChemotherapyPatients often feel distressed after a cancer diagnosis. When you're battling cancer, one of your greatest concerns is about being able to maintain your daily routine. The PMH outpatient chemotherapy suite allows patients to carry on with a normal life-you can have your chemo right here at PMH even if your oncologist is in another area, so no driving for hours to get to and from your appointments.
- General SurgeryPulaski Memorial Hospital (PMH) was the vision of physicians and county leaders concerned with the community's healthcare needs. In 1963, we opened our doors to provide the area with maternity, general surgery, and in-patient care. For over 60 years, Pulaski Memorial has been central to the lives of the residents of Pulaski County and surrounding areas. The hospital's front was remodeled in 2002 to include a new physical therapy area and a new lobby.
