Southboro Medical Group, also known as SMG, is one of the largest multispecialty group practices in the MetroWest region. Established in 1972, the group has a staff of more than 400 employees and serves over 60,000 patients. Southboro Medical Group specializes in the areas of adult medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, endocrinology and orthopedics. It also has expertise in plastic surgery, rheumatology, cardiology, sports medicine and podiatry. Additionally, the group offers a variety of psychological and psychiatric counseling services. Southboro Medical Group is an affiliate and founding member of Atrius Health, which is a nonprofit organization comprised of Dedham Medical Associates, Granite Medical, Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, Southboro Medical Group and the South Shore Medical Center.
