Established in 1907, the Village of Fox Lake is a resort and recreation community. It consists of more than 9,000 people and offers a range of services, such as business and liquor licenses, garage sales, metra commuter parking passes, shuttle vans, vehicle stickers and voter registration services. It also offers water, sewer and refuse billing. The community operates various departments, such as building, fire, human resources, police, street, water, and parks and recreation. Its recreation unit organizes events, such as health education and immunizations. Its fire department offers a range of services that include firefighting, hazardous material response, emergency medical service and vehicle rescue. The Village of Fox Lake is located in Fox Lake, Ill.
