My wife and I were driving home from long trip. Around 9:30pm we stopped here on the way to Grand Rapids. My wife ordered steak medium and I ordered the turkey melt sandwich. The steak was very fatty. My wife said it was "ok" which after 25 years of marriage I know is he code for 'she'd eat it but not happy about it'. My sandwich was a real disappointment. It was not even warm. I consisted of cold processed lunch meat(bologna type, not even deli style) on toast with one small piece of processed cheese. I could only eat half the sandwich before giving up. I've made my self better sandwiches with a toaster and microwave. The word revolting comes to mind. I also had a cup of chili that seemed to come out of a can and was nothing to write home about. The waitress asked us about the food. I told her it was disappointing and why. We got a sorry, but that was it. I went through the same routine when paying for the bill. No one asked if I wanted to speak to a manager. I go through Fowlerville from time to time and and thought I'd give this place a shot. I won't be going back. If you're choosing between here and the Fowlerville Farms next door, go next door.
