Fort Dearborn Company is the leading provider of high-impact decorative labels for high-velocity consumer goods marketers. Its capabilities include cut and stack, pressure-sensitive and shrink sleeve labels for the food and beverage, personal care products, household products, paint and coatings, pharmaceuticals, private label and wine and spirits markets. Founded in 1925, the company was named after the best-equipped United States government outpost in the Midwest during the 1800s, Fort Dearborn. During World War II, Fort Dearborn took a break from producing labels when the company was asked to print top-secret topographic maps for the War Department. Fort Dearborn Company maintains more than five locations throughout the United States and Mexico, including its headquarters in Niles, Ill., and a glue-applied cut and stack label manufacturing facility in Fountain Inn, S.C.
