  Jim received his undergraduate and law degrees from Baylor University. Following graduation from law school in 1982, he was briefing attorney to the Honorable W. C. Davis, Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, and has been exclusively engaged in a civil and personal injury litigation practice since 1983. He is admitted to practice in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. Jim is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Tarrant County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel and Defense Research Institute. Jim has been Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1987, is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, and has earned the “AV†rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. Jim has been selected to Super Lawyers every year since 2003 and listed in Best Lawyers since 2010. Jim is a founding partner.

  Scott received his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University (magna cum laude with honors) and his law degree from the University of Texas. Scott is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of Texas. Scott represents companies and individuals in a broad range of litigation including tort claims, construction defects, contract disputes and professional liability and malpractice. Scott has also prosecuted and defended cases of defamation throughout the State of Texas. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Litigation Section, and the Tarrant County Bar Association.   Guillermo received his undergraduate degree from Monterrey Institute of Technology and his law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas. Guillermo has experience in the defense of cases involving personal injury, premises liability, and commercial litigation. Additionally, he worked for several years as an Assistant District Attorney in Bexar County where he handled cases ranging from felonies to misdemeanors. He has substantial courtroom experience which includes numerous trials before juries and judges. Guillermo is an associate attorney in the firm.

  Rob received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1982 and a Master’s degree in Architecture in 2003. Rob received his law degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Phi, the international legal fraternity. Rob is Board Certified in Construction Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas and has been admitted to practice before the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals and the United States District Court of the Northern District of Texas. Rob is an associate, of counsel, with this firm.
