I don't take my dog to a boarding facility or daycare;

but if were to need it I would undoubtedly take him to riverside after what I experienced today when I picked up a friends dog. The staff knew the dog and when I got home, it was obvious that the dog had been active (tired and ready for bed, which is unusual for a very active happy dog). My thanks to riverside and Suzette.

I would just like to point out the fact that if you take your pup somewhere they stick them in a cage for most or all of the day, it is not a daycare it's a prison. If you want your dog to truly socialize then take them somewhere where there are no cages and the pups can actually play together for more than 15 mins out of the day. No offense to these people. I'm just saying.

My dog really enjoys his stay there, which says a lot, because he doesn't like to be away from his family. Suzette and her staff are always pleasant and friendly and the prices are quite reasonable.

This is by far the best boarding place for your dog. I have a little cairn that gets nervous and when he has stayed at other places he comes home to do nothing but throw up for a few days. I have used Riverside numerous occasions and when I pick him up he is happy and wagging his tail and is never sick upon returning home. I called at the last minute before Thanksgiving and they were full, but they made room for him, when I told them he just could not stay anywhere else. The place is always spotless and the dogs are always happy. Thank you Riverside.

The only place to go if you love your dog! I boarded my previous poodle, Teddy, at other kennels and veterinarians in DFW area since 1990 and never found a place quite like Riverside Kennel in Fort Worth. I just discovered this little gem last month and we wouldn't take our new Standard Poodle puppy, Achilles, anyplace else. Suzette truly CARES about Achilles and all the other dogs. She has only 31 indoor runs. You can walk into her place at any time, unannounced, and ask to visit the back where she keeps the dogs. It is spotless. There's no mess in the runs, it doesn't smell, they all have clean filtered water at all times. She REALLY takes them outside and plays with them numerous times during the day. She really has story time and play time and makes sure your dog is happy and loved. Other kennels should visit Riverside and learn from Suzette and her staff. The extra services are great--story time, play time and grooming are wonderful. This is the best home away from home we have ever found for our little dog, who is a bit timid but loves Riverside and runs into Suzette's arms when she arrives!

I was very impressed with the care that the staff gave to my dogs. Suzette gave me a discount for having 3 dogs boarded and their prices are very reasonable. I was particularly impressed that the kennel has 4 cameras and I was able to go online and actually see my pets at play anytime. I was nervous leaving them for 10 days because one of my dogs gets real nervous around larger dogs and this kennel actually has 2 play areas and Suzette puts the small dogs together separate from the others. The whole staff seems very sincere, helpful, caring and genuinely love dogs. My dogs love them too! D. Kent

I would not dream of taking my 3 dogs anywhere else. The staff is so friendly, helpful, caring, and try to always accommodate my needs and schedule. The facility is very clean and neat. The environment is warm and inviting. My dogs have stayed there several times and always have appeared happy and playful when I have returned to pick them up. My dogs are excited when we arrive for the drop off as well. I have boarded my dogs at other facilities throughout the years and they seemed anxious and stressed. It is not this way at Riverside Kennel. I have noticed as I have walked through the kennel area at Riverside, that that most of the dogs appear calm and content with very little barking. I attribute this to the fact that the dogs are continually attended to and are given much free time outdoors. Anyone can drive by on almost any given day and see dogs playing. I recommend this facility to anyone that wants the best care for their animal. Heather Z.

This was my first boarding experience. I was very nervous about leaving my pet for ten days. Suzette took very good care of him and made it a little easier on me. I recommend this company.
