- Oral Cancer Screening
- Teeth CleaningAre you overdue for a dental cleaning and have been living with a persistent toothache? Or are you noticing that you seem to clench your teeth during the day or wake up with a sore jaw? It might sound like these concerns are unrelated, but they’re all symptoms we’re experienced in treating at Fort Worth Cosmetic & Family Dentistry!
- Fluoride TreatmentWe will always maximize your insurance benefits and file any claims on your behalf. You’ll still be responsible to pay any fees at the time of service, though most dental insurance will cover preventive care and restorative treatments, including twice-yearly hygiene cleanings, x-rays, and tooth extractions. If you do not have dental insurance, we encourage you to take advantage of our in-office membership plan. This plan requires that you pay an annual fee, which covers routine dental services for the year, including hygiene visits, fluoride treatment, and one emergency appointment. Please read more by visiting our membership page. Whether or not you have dental insurance or use our membership plan, we also offer third-party dental financing for more complex or expensive procedures.
- Dental SealantsWe ensure your smile remains healthy and beautiful long-term with preventive dental services. These can include oral cancer screenings, fluoride treatment, and sealants.
- FillingsComposite fillings are the more natural alternative to traditional amalgam fillings. These fillings are tooth-colored and restore strength and aesthetics after cavity treatment.
- VeneersPorcelain veneers can correct chips, cracks, stains, and misalignments. Opt for either traditional veneers or minimal-prep options like DURAthin® or Micro-Thin® to help you enhance the appearance and function of your smile. We can often design and create them in-house with our CEREC technology.
- CrownsCEREC technology revolutionizes the process of restoring damaged teeth by offering same-day crowns that are custom-designed and fabricated right here in our office. No goopy impressions, and no need to involve an outside lab. Say goodbye to multiple appointments and uncomfortable temporaries.
- BridgesFull mouth dental implants are the ultimate in full arch rehabilitation, permanently replacing all your falling or missing teeth with a fixed bridge of teeth attached to four or more dental implants.
- Dental BondingWe repair minor chips, cracks, and gaps between teeth with dental bonding. This color-matched cosmetic treatment returns an imperfect tooth to proper shape and size.
- Restorative DentistryYour smile should reflect your personality and confidence. But when your teeth are affected by decay, injury, or gum disease, it can diminish your self-esteem. Our restorative dentistry services can help you bring back a smile you’re proud to show off.
- Root Canal TreatmentWe don’t ever want our patients to experience tooth pain, so if you find yourself suffering from a toothache, contact us right away. Pain in or around your tooth, especially if it’s chipped or cracked, is almost always a sign that it’s decayed or infected and needs professional treatment. Root canals are the conservative and comfortable way we treat infection in your tooth. Though they have a bad reputation, root canals are actually designed to alleviate your tooth discomfort! Best of all, the goal of our root canals in Fort Worth, TX is to preserve natural teeth so that extraction isn’t necessary. After a short, comfortable procedure, you can be on your way with a healthy, natural smile free from pain and infection!
- Gingivectomy and GingivoplastyMore advanced cases of gum disease may require that the diseased tissue be removed in addition to scaling and root planing. A gingivectomy removes the infected gum tissue and reduces the depth of the pockets around the teeth. After the area has been cleared of bacteria and calculus, the healthy gum tissue can heal and reattach to the teeth.
- Deep CleaningScaling and root planing is the first step for treating gum disease. During this non-surgical “deep cleaning,” we’ll first remove the bacteria and calculus from the teeth and periodontal pockets. Next, we’ll smooth the tooth surfaces to discourage future buildup and to help healthy tissues reattach to the teeth, reducing pocket depth.
- DenturesRemovable dentures are the least expensive option, but aren’t a long-term solution and may cause more problems than they solve over time. They require adhesives and can prevent you from eating the foods you love. They can also slip out at the worst times, leaving you embarrassed.
- Dental ImplantsDental implants are a stable, beautiful, and lasting solution for missing teeth. At Fort Worth Cosmetic and Family Dentistry, our expert team uses advanced techniques to ensure your implants blend seamlessly with your smile.
- Oral SurgeryOne of our staff members will compile your medical and dental history during your first visit. We will then examine your teeth and gums, screen you for oral cancer, take x-rays of your teeth as needed and complete a TMJ (temporomandibular or jaw joint) exam. After we review your dental profile, we will discuss a diagnosis with you. If treatment such as a root canal (endodontics), braces (orthodontics) or oral surgery is needed, we will plan to treat you in our office or refer you to a specialist. We will discuss your options for treatment and fee payment and help you determine the best plan to fit your needs.
- Osseous SurgeryOsseous surgery, for severe cases of periodontal disease, involves flapping the gum tissue back away from the teeth and bone. Then the area is cleared of all bacteria and plaque buildup, the damaged bone is reshaped, and antibiotics are placed in the periodontal pockets. Diseased tissue is cut away and the healthy gums are sutured back around the teeth to support healthy healing.
- Tooth ExtractionsAt our office, you won’t have to worry about tooth extractions being painful or scary! This procedure is common, and our dentists are experts, especially since they remove teeth almost every day using minimally invasive techniques. We’ll be sure you are completely relaxed and comfortable during your appointment. You can also choose additional sedation, including nitrous oxide and oral sedation. In many cases, tooth extractions are simple procedures that won’t take long at all. In the case of wisdom teeth extraction, we’ll be sure to walk you through the specific procedure, as it is a surgical process. Our dentists complete all types of tooth extractions right in our modern practice, where we’ll be sure to make you feel right at home and safe.
- Bone GraftingDental implant cost varies based on factors such as the number of implants, the need for preparatory procedures (e.g., bone grafting), and the type of restoration. Fees typically include implant materials, surgery, sedation, and restoration.
