I am totally disappointed in the service I received on March 12, 2010. I went in to get an International drivers license. While there I inquired about purchasing euros. I gave the agent 2 $100.00 bills. I had following the euro rate for months and knew it was around 72. Two packets were put into an envelope with tape sealing the envelope. That evening I opened one of the packets and found I had only been given 59. On Monday I was told this was what they paid for them. I have never heard of such an excuse. I have been a member for 43 years and felt by going there I would be treated fairly. I called the manager Monday morning and he said there wasn't anything he could or would do. There is a gentleman in California that is trying to help in this matter. He felt this was unfair also. I plan to file a complaint with the Attorney General in the State of Texas. I could have gone to Bank of America and gotten 70 euros for $100.00. I can't believe I experienced such poor and unfair service.
I absolutely love my agents at AAA. I have worked with Elizabeth Nash for my auto insurance for years and she always goes the extra mile. Adrian Scott is my life insurance agent and he is also wonderful. They are always quick to respond and help. Whether I call, leave a message or send them an email I get the best customer service around!
