For more than 50 years, Havel is a division of Shambaugh & Son and is a wholly owned subsidiary of EMCOR Group Inc., which is one of the world's leading providers of mechanical and electrical construction and facilities services. The company provides services, such as building automation services, control products, custom panel fabrication, open systems and options program. Some of its projects include Brownsburg Community School Corporation, Kahler Middle School, St. Joseph Medical Center, University of Notre Dame, United Telephone Company of Indiana and Western Michigan University. In 2006, The Mechanical Services Contractors of America recognized Havel in its achievement of STAR status.
