Welcome to Frame Service, we are locally owned and family operated. Frame Service was founded in 1948 by Jim Ernst as a downtown Fort Wayne business. Having established an early and consistent reputation for excellent and timely service, Frame Service has become the Fort Wayne area's most reliable destination for assistance with all of your truck and trailer maintenance and repair needs. As highway hauling created an increased dependence on truck and trailer maintenance, Frame Service moved to its current location at the corner of U.S. Highway 33 and Washington Center Road for the convenience of its customers. The family dedication of Frame Service is alive today with owner Barry Ernst, son of founder Jim. Barry began working with his father in 1979 as a technician, learning all aspects of the family business from the ground up.
