Deer Ridge Elementary serves students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers academic instruction in reading, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school additionally conducts art, music and physical education classes. Deer Ridge Elementary also offers special education programs for students with various disabilities. It has a library that houses a variety of picture and nonfiction books, novels, biographies, magazines, teaching resources, educational videos, multimedia kits and guided reading materials.
