I had bought a bra in ur store 3 mons ago, I didn't wear it every day and it tore al ready, the underwear came out!!. I was in ur store on Saturday the ladies couldn't help me couldn't make it right, no discount. nothing!!!!! and I payed good money f that bra too!!!!!... so.... 3 stars on you. am disappointed!!!!

I did need a new bra and the lady was very helpful. What I did not know was the sale that was beginning in a few days. The other ladies were telling their clients while they were helping them, but I didn't know until I was checking out and heard another client mention it. They did back out my purchase but now I need to make another trip and I'm from out of town.
Barbara's has been a lifesaver for not just me but my daughters as well. I wear a g-h cup bra (40 g-h) and had MANY selections. The staff was soooo patient with all of us. Even when I need a bustiere for my daughter's wedding they had it IN STOCK!!! The women that fit us each took personal interest in us and addressed each need. I even ended up taking my Mom and 2 Aunts down on a "girls day out" (I guess we all got the same genes) and we were all happy with our experience. Thank you to Barbara's!
I do not recommend the way this store fits bras. I've bought 3. The fitter told me they believe in fitting the bras tightly. The bras are too tight , leave indentations on my skin and hurt my back. I'll never shop there again. I wasted my money.

Love the bras and the other items sold in the store. My only issue is that one of the Fitters speaks very loud. No matter where you are in the store, you can hear her. It's difficult to wait your turn, read or look around and not hear her conversation.

I attended the Women's Show and Tapestry. At both, there was a young woman who was saying, "I'll give you 10% off when you come into the store." When I went to the store, she was not there and learned this is not store policy. It's wrong for that young woman to be talking about the 10% off. I liked the store, but it's misleading.

I have been to Barbara's several times and my experience was FANTASTIC! The girls that do the fittings are extremely friendly, compassionate and caring. I met the office manager on my most recent visit and did not experience anything like the previous reviewer. I thought she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. As far as the alterations, I have never heard of repairing a bra that was worn or old. I highly recommend Barbara's if you are considering purchasing an expertly fitted bra.

I was in the store Saturday and I was overwhelmed by all the great bras. I have never had a professional bra fit, but the salesgirl Venessa was so very helpful and warmhearted. I am a big women and kinda embarrassed with my shirt off, but Venessa made me feel so comfortable, I will keep coming back there for my bra's. Thank you!!!!!! Venessa you were great.

After giving much thought, I wish to express my disappointment with the fact Barbara's New Beginnings no longer offers a repair service. The repair service was an expression of true customer service and caring that the customer was satisfied. The Store Manager is not of help. She just walks around, drinks coffee, checks her cell phone, leans on the counter just looking around. She could at least offer to show or talk about new products to the customers, but I don't think she's interested in Customers. The environment and first impression is not what it was 24 months ago.

Out right they are expensive, however, I saw the value in purchasing a good bra. In fact I bought 6 from them in the last 2.5 years. I liked that I could buy quality and they had a repair service. It is the very reason I kept encouraging friends to go to Barbara's. Today I walked in to have a repair done on a previously purchased bra and was informed they no longer provide a repair service. I inquired who they recommended, they don't have anyone. I am angry. They expanded their store floor space and it would seem they have done away with a valuable service that set them apart from everywhere else. I will never go back. I will only spread bad things about them.

Today I visited the store to return two bras. I had already called a week earlier and talked to someone in Customer Service who indicated there would not be a problem returning the merchandise with the information I provided. Due to living out of town, today was a time set aside to make this exchange. I was greeted and immediately helped. A Store Manager, Mel came up, interrupted the conversation and transaction which clearly established when they were purchased and wear was not an issue. I just wanted to be refitted as the cup & the band were not the correct size. The Store Manager said I would need to come back on another day when there was someone that could help me with alterations. Alternations is not the answer to a bra that was "misfit" to begin with. This Store Manager was anxious to close down the store & was talking about counting down the drawer. How rude!! Perhaps the Store Manager should allow Customer Service to handle the Customers.

Stacey one of the employees is very helpful and has good knowledge of the store's merchandise.Some of the main fitters are a little too fake at times. They seem to be in hurry to get you out of the store. It's an interesting store as there's so much to see, one is not sure what is really being sold.Pins, makeup, scarves, swimwear, or bras.
One day I was watching TV and saw the ad for Barbara's New Beginnings talking about bras and do they fit. My wife had been complaining for years about her bras not fitting well. I decided to talk my wife to Barbara's on a Saturday. It was awkward for me, but at least they had a place for me to sit in the front and out of the way. It took about 40 minutes, but my wife was "happy" and has been "happy" with the couple of bras purchased that day. It was not cheap, but she's a different woman. She felt uplifted. Thanks.
Since 2001, I've been a customer of Barbara's New Beginnings. Whenever I feel a need for a "pick me up", I stop by Barbara's New Beginnings. The atmosphere is pleasant, relaxing, the Greeters and Fitters are all very friendly. The Fitters are to be applauded for their patience as I'm not an easy fit. Buying a bra is like my husband buying a car. He has to drive 5 or 6 before making a final decision. I must try on 8-10 bras before selecting the 1 or 2 that feel the best. When I leave Barbara's, I feel "special".

I went there after breast reconstruction, looking for a bra that held the lower side up to meet the higher side, or visa versa. Got put into a bra that was too tight and was a mastectomy bra, which I didn't need. Asked for different styles to look at and was told that what I saw was all they had for me...no bras that were not mastectomy! When reading their add, they have bras for everyone. I don't get it.
My wife now purchases all of her swimsuits and bra's at Barbara's. They are the only place we found in town to actually fit her correctly and have the sizes she needed in stock. It was amazing seeing the difference in her whole attitude once she had a bra she actually felt and looked great in. She had never in her life been able to wear a strapless bra, and now has been having so much fun being able to buy all the dresses and shirts she never could before. The girl she worked with made her feel very comfortable and they all seemed genuinely polite.
I went to Barbara's looking for a nursing bra. First of all, they put the bra on for you - totally not my style! Then, they tell you what size you are, what is comfortable on you, and won't allow you to try on another size you think might fit better. I understand they are "experts," but when a bra is so tight you can't breathe, or you can pinch an inch of fabric above the breast, the bra doesn't fit - I don't care who you are or what training you have. They don't have a good selection of sizes or colors - but remember I was looking for nursing only. I called the following day to see if they had specific sizes in two specific bras and they absolutely would not look up the information for me! They told me they could sell them today, so their stock might change by tomorrow. So, I told them I was coming in that day and they still wouldn't service me. They lady was very rude on the phone and I ended up telling her I would be purchasing my bras elsewhere. Her response..."whatever."
Ladies, you don't know what your missing until you try on a well-fitted bra! I heard about their great service and superb quality of bras...but I didn't truly "get it" until I went there myself. I felt very comfortable with my personal fitter and left with all of my bra and body-slimmer needs met.
