Montessori programs allow children to learn naturally though their experiences in a specially-prepared environment. The Montessori "self-correcting apparatus'" is designed to provide children with positive reinforcement for their accomplishments. A Montessori early education experience can make the difference when it comes to developing a child's knowledge, independence, inner discipline and self-motivation. At Montessori Children's House, children find an orderly, child-sized environment and specially-designed Montessori materials which allow each child to explore and understand his or her world. Mixed age groups encourage helping and learning. A non-competitive atmosphere promotes self-confidence and independence. Children work in small groups or alone with freedom of choice and movement.
