Back in 1950's, residential air conditioning was just getting started as a concept - and Ted's Air Conditioning was among the first companies in Arkansas to offer the service. Our company was founded by Tillman "Ted" Neal with his friend Bob Karber as a way to make extra money for their growing families. Operating during weekends only, Ted would work in maintenance at nearby Sparks Hospital during the other five days of the week. As time went by, air conditioning went from being a weekend job to being the primary moneymaker for the Neal family. Eventually, Ted was joined by his two sons, Thomas and Scott, who eventually became Vice Presidents once the company was incorporated in 1982. At present, the entire Neal family is involved with the organization. Ellen, Ted's wife of 32 years, is the office manager, and Thomas's son Tyler is the IT manager. Our newest mascot is Tyler's daughter Aurora, who was born in June 2018.
