This post is about good business pratices. This is a open business in fort payne al.So here is the story to the best i know it... I had a lady come in my shop yesterday. She broke down crying. I held her while she cried. The palm reader in fort payne. The one on the main street south... Had taken 1200.00 bucks from her. She had told her she had a hex on her and it was like killing her. She said she scared her real bad... She made her believe in some way (i was not there) if the palm reader bought her some rocks and she came in for many session she would remove the hex and she would not be happy or free to be happy unless this service was provided. She had used the customers phone to do the payment. She ask her to log in to her paypal account and then she took the phone and paid herself. instead of walking the customer through the payment process... She took the phone and paid herself. She also sent it to herself via 'friends and family' not "goods and services" when she knew she was providing goods and services. so paypal will not give her money back because it was like a western union. Now i decide to do "friends and family" when i buy things cavy all the time. There is no fees for the seller, But i do decide to do this of my own free will. She was not given this choice. She was not aware the bill was 1200.00 bucks the lady was going to take upfront and total. No services has been given and the lady will not refund her. once she was home and saw what she had done she ask for her money back right then. This was before services was rendered. I read the texts she was getting back from her and had sent to her. She was a sweet single mom. She was young and a bit easy to lead. And i admit i was not there and I do not know everything about this event. but it was bad enough for her to break down in my store crying. So i just wish to pass this on... 1. Be careful with this place. 2. do not go alone. 3. Do not let her pay herself.
