My husband and I brought our motorcycle to enjoy some rides in the mountains. I found this motel when searching for motels in Ft. Payne, AL and after reading a review. We were not disappointed at all. Our stay there was very memorable and would definitely stay there again. The manager was VERY accomodating. He didn't even ask for a credit card for deposit when booking. The room had been freshly painted and carpet/flooring looked new. There was no bad smell that we have experienced in other higher priced hotels. Speaking of price, $ 40 a night everything included. Just one example of how the manager was so anxious to please, when we checked in, I asked for 2 extra towels and cloths. Every day we were there, there were 2 extra towels and cloths left. The only downside was the size of the bathroom, but that is one room that I don't care for a family gathering! :o) If you are one who is looking for a clean room and not spend a fortune, try it out.
