I've lived at the Palms of Monterrey for about two years. The only complaint I have is that they advertise a heated pool. This is not true. In the cooler months the pool looks beautiful and inviting, but there is not a single person that is willing to get in because it is sooooooooo cold! If you ask the management to turn the pool heater on, they rudely blow you off.

We stayed at the Palms of Monterrey from Jan. to the end of March of 08. The grounds were beautiful and well-kept. Our apartment was beautifully furnished and everything that was necessary for living was provided. Not only were we able to use the pool whenever we wanted, we were also able to use the gym daily. The employees went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed to have a pleasant stay. Even the location was convenient---shopping and the beach were only a few miles away. In fact, we rode our bikes to the beach almost every day. I would definitely stay there any time I visit Florida.
