Dr. Humbert developed his interest in orthopaedics while obtaining his degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Florida and master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Akron. His studies concentrated on musculoskeletal biomechanics, as well as orthopedic implant design. He completed his medical school training at Nova Southeastern University and orthopaedic surgical residency at Ohio University, Columbus, OH. He then completed a one-year fellowship in joint replacement of the hip and knee.

He then completed an additional year of sports medicine and arthroscopy training at an accredited fellowship in Plano, TX in 2008. He has published numerous scientific papers in renowned orthopedic journals, reviewed articles for publication in the Journal of Arthroscopy, and has lectured both students and physicians on various sports medicine and arthroscopy topics. He has covered both local high school football and professional baseball teams.

- Skin CancerDr. Justin Rock attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania where he graduated Summa Cim Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in both Chemistry and Molecular Biology. He then completed a Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a research focus on malignant melanoma at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. He remained at the Thomas Jefferson University to complete his medical training at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College, where he graduated in the top quartile of his class. Dr. Rock then went to complete his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Rutgers University in Newark, NJ. From where he spent an additional year of training to specialize in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at the Davis P. Green Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship at the Hand Center of San Antonio. Throughout his education, he has served in many leadership roles that have allowed him to directly oversee the training of future medical students, residents, and fellows. He has published numerous papers in peer reviewed journals to enhance our knowledge in both basic science and Orthopaedics. Dr. Rock has a special interest in elbow, wrist, and hand surgery because it fulfils his passion to help restore his patient’s function and quality of life. He seeks to bring his passion to serve Fort Myers and surrounding communities.
