After visiting several different auto shops in Fort Myers no one could tell me what is causing that damn noise. One said it was the brake rotors, another recommended replacing all the wheel rims, etc. Well, I should go straight to Fort Myers next time. I know now no one could find and solve my transmission problem faster.

They did a great job and even though I had my own favoured engine oil and transmission oil, the price was more than fair. I try to keep my truck going since its paid for and they have done just that. Great staff! Friendly people, and reasonable rates.

I needed to have the filter changed, bands tightened, and the shift points adjusted for quite sometime. I was concerned over finding a shop I could trust to do the work without burning me and telling me I was due a rebuild. My 1974 AMC Javelin was in dire need of this basic service. The mechanic took the keys and we went on the test drive and was told since I lived near by he could drop me off and call once the car was ready for pick up. As promised, he called and let me know it was ready and had a detailed list of what all was done and showed me before and after pictures. No shop has ever done that for me, to provide a detailed picture and then review the service was a change of pace to the normal just pay and go.

My Javelin feels and drives like a new car now. Smooth, firm shifts with no nasty leak when I park my car. I would highly recommend Joe's Transmission and A/C Center for any transmission service and was the best value for me and budget. Fast, friendly and no better value, dollar for dollar.
