Hope of Southwest Florida, established in 1979, is a nonprofit health care organization offering medical, home aids, hospice, and assisted living services to patients throughout Lee, Hendry, Glades, Hardee, Polk and Highlands counties in Florida. It provides medical assistance and health care services to patients suffering from cancer, neurological disorders, cardiac and respiratory diseases, Alzheimer, and renal and liver diseases. The services offered by the organization include pain control and symptom management, bereavement counseling, art, music and massage therapies, health education programs, and physical, speech and occupational therapies. It also provides additional services, such as personal care, cooking, housekeeping, financial management, assistance with bathing, grief counseling, and spiritual and emotional support. Hope of Southwest Florida is located in Fort Myers, Fla.
